Management Board expansion with Dr.-Ing. Björn Schölling

Fourteen and a half years after joining CeoTronics AG, Dr.-Ing. Björn Schölling is moving up to the first management level. On June 1, the long-time employee will be introduced as the new Chief Technical Officer, CTO.

The research and development employee joined CeoTronics AG on January 1, 2008. He was appointed department head of software development in 2013 and division head of research and development with procuration in 2017. In the future, he will lead CeoTronics AG together with Chairman of the Board of Management and CEO Thomas H. Günther and will be responsible for research and development, operations and quality management.

In recent years, Dr. Schölling has been responsible for the development of the successful CT-ComLink® product family with the CT-MultiPTTs and the CT-DECT Multi communication system which was awarded with the coveted DECT Award in 2019. The research and development department for which he has been responsible to date development comprises a total of 19 employees, including 2 additional Dr.-Ing., 17 graduate engineers and technicians.

The 44-year-old studied at the State University of New York at Buffalo (USA) and earned a Master of Science degree in electrical engineering. He also successfully completed a degree in electrical engineering and information technology with a specialization in Communications Engineering at the Technical University of Darmstadt. In 2009, he was awarded the academic degree of Doctor of Engineering by the Department of Electrical Engineering and Information Technology at Darmstadt Technical University.

He will continue to enrich CeoTronics AG in all respects and we will work well together,“ said Thomas H. Günther, Chairman of the Board and CEO, regarding his appointment.
