CeoTronics AG is certified in accordance with the international standard for environmental management and sustainability
In February 2023, CeoTronics AG became the first German company in its sector to become certified by TÜV Rheinland in accordance with the international standard ISO 14001 for environmental management and sustainability. The certificate confirms CeoTronics’ future-focused way of thinking and acting, consistent focus on sustainable management and multi-faceted commitment to environmental protection. Back in 2016, the company was also the first worldwide in the communications industry to achieve the Quality Management Certification ISO 9001:2015.
Ideally positioned for the future
“Sustainability and environmental protection are the issues of our time. Through this successful certification, we are delighted to take on the pioneering role in a competitive environment” said Thomas H. Günther, CEO of CeoTronics AG. “The internationally recognised certificate is the basis for a continuous and verifiable improvement process, which we strive for as a company”, continued Günther.
On the TÜV Rheinland website, , it states: “Only those who systematically manage emissions, recycling and the use of natural resources today, will be able to sustain their business model tomorrow.”
Protecting resources – minimising energy consumption
Through a series of focused measures, CeoTronics is continually reducing energy usage, resource consumption and CO2 emissions. The focus is primarily on its own products: thanks to their quality and robustness, they offer a particularly long service life and they can be returned free of charge at the end of their life cycle. A compulsory energy saving guide, the switch to hybrid or fully electric company vehicles, the installation of several photovoltaic systems, the move to 100% green electricity and the ecological restoration and greening of land round off CeoTronics AG’s climate protection package.
The ISO 14001 certification is valid for three years and is constantly monitored through yearly audits. The certificate is renewed every three years. For more information, click here.
